Residential Garbage/Trash Services
- Household debri ONLY (no yard debris)
- Place bags at the edge of yard and street by 7:00 AM.
- 12 bag limit
- Maximum 35 lbs per bag
- Trash containers can be used but trash must be bagged
- Cardboard must be broken down to lay flat
Bulk Trash
- Bulk trash is collected the first Thursday of every month by scheduled appointment only. You must call a minimum of 2 days in advance to schedule a pickup at your address. (903) 575-1568
- One to two items only (this is not a clean up)
- Place item at curbside by 7:00 AM
- Item must be acceptable at the land fill (no refrigerants,, batteries or liquids)
- This service is one to 2 items per month
Yard Debris
- This is a convenience service offered by the City and is operated by our street and utility crews as time permits. Be patient as they will get by and retrieve your debris.
- Leaf truck
- collects loose leaves raked to the edge of the street
- operates late November thru mid March
- leaves cannot contain sticks
- Chipper truck
- collects limbs no larger than 6" in diameter and 8' in length
- only limbs that are from the property from which they are being picked up
- City will pick up limbs cut or removed by resident only (if you hire someone to trim or cut trees, it is their responsibility to remove the debris)
